The Audemars Piguet Reference 5205BA is a rare vintage dress watch produced in the 1960s, representing the refined, "quiet" aesthetic of the maison prior to the introduction of the Royal Oak in 1972. It is powered by the automatic winding Audemars Piguet caliber K2072. Only 881 examples of the K2072 movement were produced between 1961 and 1967, making the Ref. 5205 an uncommon find and a very rare watch still underestimated by the actual market.

The satin finishing is still perfectly preserved all over the lugs and the carrure. Slightly oxidation on the lunette. Gold hallmark is unmolested. The case measure 35mm. The golden original dial is flawless. The watch is aimed by the very rare automatic Ap caliber K2072. This example is niche and highly collectible.
