    Ref 96 represent the very first Calatrava ever made, designed by Patek in 1931.

    Its simple but effective, and very distinguishing, design made this timepiece a styling reference for dacades.

    The success of the ref 96 is highlighted by its very long production life, from early 30s to mid 70s. During these more than 40years production the ref had seen some small design changes and the use of 4 different calibers.

    Delighted to offer a beautiful and sought-after vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava ref 96 in steel. This beauty example comes in a possibility unpolished 31mm size case. The lugs are still very sharp and the satin finishing is still there. The watch features a rare layout dial with Roman numerals (at 12-3-9) and dots. Beautiful creamy patina. The watch is a second execution, from 1943, with the more curved lugs edges and the 12-120 in house manual winding movement. It’s accompanied by the Extract
