Firstly introduced in 1968 and produced into the 1970s, until roughly 1976, when it was succeeded by the reference 3746, the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse 3546, along with the other Ellipse ref 3548, was part of the original lineup that brought the Golden Ellipse collection to market. The Ellipse 3546 is a vintage timepiece designed around the "golden ratio" proportion.

Classic and Beautiful Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse ref 3546. First introduced in 1968 this example comes from the early 70s. Beautiful 18kt White Gold case in a perfect wearable 27x32mm size. Case is very good preserved with sharp edges and the pristine satin finishing. The iconic Blue Soleil Dial without sigmas matches perfectly the production period. The Dial is completely flawless. Original logged crown. Hand wind 23-300 Pp caliber.
